PASA FC Spring 2009 Team Summaries
The GU15 Girls ended up in third place in their Division this Spring, which allowed them to continue in Division 1 for the Spring 2010 season. They will soon begin training again under Head Coach Wayne Currie. They will begin their Spring run by competing in the CASL National Invitational Tournament over the Christmas/New Year break.
The GU13 Girls ended up in third place in their Division in the Spring, which allowed them to remain in Division 3, and will be playing for the chance to move up to Division 2 with a win this weekend. This team continued showing marked improvement throughout and placed well in the Spring season, in spite of several injuries. They are looking forward to continuing their success, possibly in Division 2.
The GU12 Girls ended up in first place with the best goals against in their division. Only a single goal was allowed all season. Their strong defense, combined with split goalkeeping duties among several members of the team, held opponents to less than a goal per game average once again. The girls continued to improve through the season, and because of their off-season work and training, have been able to get some goals on the board.
The GU11 Girls saw plenty of playing time this season, and showed constant grit, desire, and improvement as the season went on. A tie and a couple of close 1-0 games showed that this team is ready to break out to another level. They are looking for a few more competive players to join their squad for the Fall. Contact if you would like to join this talented group of players.
The GU10 Girls had a successful inaugural year. This group continued to develop as a team, showing off their footskills training. They had a great time as they completed their first year of competitive soccer.
